The Wauwinet

The Wauwinet is open from May 18 to October 24, 2010. Each exquisitely appointed guest room at The Wauwinet has been individually decorated with antique pine, cheery chintz, Pratesi fine bed linens, hand-stenciled finishes and an abundance of fresh flowers to evoke the air of a country inn at the shore. The inn offers a variety of accommodations from which to choose, including guest rooms in the Main Inn and a number of charming cottages.

The Wauwinet's Spa by the Sea is a luxury spa in Nantucket featuring rejuvenating and relaxing spa treatments that reflect Nantucket's native habitat: sun, sea, sand, and sky. Signature spa treatments composed of local and sea-inspired ingredients include the Cranberry Crush Body Treatment, the Garden Facial, and Atlantic Seaweed Wrap. Specially-trained therapists also offer ocean salt scrubs and algae masks. Massages will feature seasonal wildflowers and herbs cultivated in The Wauwinet's serene spa garden such as local rose, chamomile, rosemary, lavender, and hydrangea. The evocative sounds of the ocean and bay add to the soothing atmosphere of The Wauwinet's Spa by the Sea.
